A Question of Religion -- paintings by E.N. del Rosario in October 2006 Vorpal Space presented "A Question of Religion," A collection of paintings and drawings by Portland area artist E.N. del Rosario. The public opening and reception will be on the First Thursday, October 5th from 5pm-10pm; it will be shown through October 31st. "A Question of Religion" is a series of oil paint and mixed media portraits by Portland area artist E.N. del Rosario which explore themes of the quest, question, origin, and evolution of one’s self, spirituality, and religion. And has been described by the artist as religious iconography and “anatomically exposed portraiture,” a twisted take on various iconic biblical figureheads. Below are 10 of the 12 paintings exhibited in the October show.
