Statement of Purpose: As an art gallery, Vorpal Space is dedicated to showcasing high quality art by skilled but lesser known artists -- the kind who aren't getting grant money or fancy downtown gallery shows. We have endevoured to create a pricing structure which will make this artwork affordable to patrons of modest means, while still benefiting the artists and allowing us to operate. As a venue, Vorpal Space is dedicated to providing space for music and performance art which would otherwise be marginalized and perhaps left unseen and unheard in a world where venue access is too often determined not by the quality of a performance but by its marketability. In this modest space we are trying to bring some of the underground into the light. We hope to expose you to something new and give you something to think about. Thank you for supporting real art by real artists. Sincerely, - David Owner & Curator Vorpal Space
